Robert Yerger

Founder

I started BSGI in 1982 after working 17+ years at Simplex Time Recorder Co. serving as a Customer Service Representative, Salesman, Branch Manager, and Regional Sales Manager. I attained an Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering from Penn State in 1962. I married Betsy, my high school sweetheart, in 1962 and had two children, Chris and Beth. I enjoy golf, baseball/softball games, hunting, fishing, and our 145 acre farm in Huntington County, PA, where hard work is fun. My passion in business is watching and contributing to employees’ growth and success in their careers. Their success equates to happy customers and growth and success for the company.

Beth Hahn

President

I started Secure-A-Home, Inc. in 1988 after graduating from Shippensburg University with a degree in Marketing. I am a graduate of Governor Mifflin High School and was born and raised in Berks County. I have been married to a wonderful husband and father for the last 24 years and am the mother of 3 children – Matthew, Alex, and Leah. In the beginning of 2016, I moved into the position of President of BSGI after working alongside of my father and husband for 28 years as the president of SAH, Inc. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and our dog. My favorite hobby is redecorating our home.

Joseph Hnatishion

CFO

I was born and raised in Berks County, Pennsylvania. After graduating from Pennsylvania State University in 1991, I started my career with a regional accounting firm that provided the foundation of my finance and accounting career. My experiences of working in organizations ranging in size from family business to Fortune 500 companies, made me a perfect fit for BSGI. I joined BSGI in 2015 and look forward to its continued growth through organic market share and acquisition opportunities. When I am not working, you will find me spending family time with my son Nate. I also enjoy golfing, skiing and spending time at the Delaware beaches.

Mike Cirulli

Sales Manager

Soon after graduating from Penn State University, I started working for BSGI in their residential division. I spent the majority of my first 9 months working in the field in order to learn the intricate details of security and fire alarm systems. 25 years later, I serve as BSGI’s Sales Manager, a position I’ve held since April 2011. I enjoy mountain biking, fishing and coaching football and baseball in my spare time.

Jeff Neiderer

Service Center Manager (York)

I started with BSGI in 1997 as a service technician and opened our service center office in York, Pa in 1999. When I started, my duties included Sales, Service, and Inspections. We now have two technicians, Project manager and engineering department. I’ve been married to my wife, Janie, for 37+ years and have a son, daughter, and two grandsons.

Charlie Miriello

Service Center Manager (State College)

I grew up in the heart of the coal region in Marion Heights, Pennsylvania. I am a graduate of Mt. Carmel Area High School and Penn State University with an Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology. I had a brief job as an electronics technician for Amp Inc. before working as a construction electrician. In 1991 I started my career in the fire alarm industry as a service technician and my responsibilities quickly grew to programming, design, project management, sales and business management. I joined the BSGI team in 2011.

Larry Raifsnider

Communications Manager

I was raised in Berks County and a graduate from Reading High School. I currently live in Bernville and have 3 wonderful kids, Kasey; Carter and Emma. After High School, I joined the workforce in Building Maintenance for a Landlord in Reading, which introduced me to Jim B. from SAH. After discussions, I decided to start a career with SAH/BSGI as an Installer/Tech and have been able to grow within the company over the last 20 years. Outside of work, I enjoy Dirt Track Racing; Coaching my daughters Youth Soccer Team; sitting on a Beach with an adult beverage and going out with my friends.

Dave Pursel

Operations Manager

I began my technical career by serving for 8 years in the U.S. Navy as an Electronics Technician. In 1990, I began my next chapter as a Technical Specialist at Berkshire Systems Group, Inc. In the 30 years that followed, I have served BSGI in many capacities including Service Manager, Sr. Applications Specialist, and Director of Fire & Life Safety. In October of 2020, I began proudly serving BSGI as Operations Manager and am now excited to continue my successful career as a member of the finest Operations Team in the Life Safety, Sprinkler, Security Integration and Communications Industries. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, outdoor photography and music.
