The Fire Technician I Role:
The Fire Technician I position reports to the Fire Alarm supervisor, as well as the Operations Manager. The Fire Technician I commissions, maintains, repairs and provides customer support for Fire Alarm Systems including, but not limited to: Siemens, Silent Knight, VESDA, Simplex, and Notifier.

Where You'll Be Located:

The ideal candidate will reside in Western, PA. Daily commute to the office is not required. What You Bring:

• Strong technical knowledge with an electronics background and a solid skillset/foundation with Fire Alarm systems

Physical Fitness: Possess the physical ability to ascend/descend ladders and stairs, and access elevated areas to inspect fire alarm system components installed at various heights.

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and frequently bend, twist, reach, stoop, kneel or crouch.
• Must have hand dexterity to manipulate and handle materials.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a daily continuous basis. Any lifting over 50 pounds will be done with the assistance of a mechanical device or with the assistance of another employee.

Mobility: Ability to move freely and safely within tight spaces, crawl spaces, attics, and other areas where fire alarm systems are installed.
Vision: Possess visual acuity in at least one (1) eye of 20/40 or better combined vision without corrective lenses or over 20/70 combined vision with corrective lenses. Possess ability to distinguish colors.

The Technical Sales Executive Role:

The Technical Sales Executive reports to the Sales Manager. As a Sales Executive at Berkshire Systems Group, Inc., your primary responsibility is to drive sales and expand our customer base within the ever-evolving Life Safety industry. Strong product knowledge of fire alarm systems, security systems, and communications systems from top manufacturers like Siemens, Vesda, Genetec, Lenel, Panasonic iPro, AMAG, Aiphone, Genetec, Bosch, Honeywell Fire, and Hanwha will form the foundation for success in our Sales department. The Technical Sales Executive will engage with potential commercial clients to understand their Life Safety-related needs and offer winning solutions from our portfolio of products and services. After a job is contracted, the Sales Executive will work closely with our team of Project Managers to ensure successful completion of the job. Where You'll Be Located:

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver materials and equipment to job sites as scheduled
• Pick up and drop off company vehicles for maintenance or repairs
• Receive incoming shipments and verify contents
• Organize and maintain the warehouse and yard area
• Perform routine inventory checks and assist with inventory management
• Handle trash disposal and basic groundskeeping, including mowing
• Ensure safe operation of vehicles and equipment
• Support general warehouse duties as needed

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Daily travel as needed to areas in PA 
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day
• Previous warehouse or delivery experience is necessary
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
